Martin McCarrick is the cellist of the band, occasionally he also plays the guitar.    He was born in Luton in England and moved up to London to go to a classical music    college. He has been playing the cello since he was 12. He performed with legendary groups such as Siouxsie and the Banshees, This Mortal Coil, The Wolfgang Press, ...     In 1992 he meet Therapy? at the Astoria in London at the end of their Nurse tour. They     had a song 'Gone' which had a cello part and Martin joint the group instead of an old     guy from an orchestra they were expecting. Martin is a true man of the fan, he loves hanging around chatting, signing autographs and posing for photos for any fan who asks. He appears to be relishing his soon to be mega-star experience and that, in addition to the fact that he is "brilliant," makes us love him all the more.
